NOTIFICATION FOR ADMISSION TO POST GRADUATE
COURSES/PROGRAMMES
For All the Students who want to take admission in the Rajsathan University Post Graduation Programmes will have to take a look at the Notification Released by university of Rajsathan.
(i)Admission to Post Graduate Courses/Programmes of all the PG
Departments of the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur shall be made on the basis of Entrance Test and Academic
Merit of qualifying Examination.
(ii)In the First Step of admission to Post Graduate Courses/Pro
grammes, the candidates will be required to submit online Application Form for University of Rajasthan Admission Test for Post Graduate Courses (URATPG).
(iii)The dates of submitting online applications for URATPG-2015 are as
follows :

(vi)A candidate can apply for appearing in the Entrance Test for the
maximum of 5 (five) test subjects through a single application form.
(vii)With the help of token number obtained from E-Mitra, after depositing the
fee, the candidate shall generate and submit Entrance Test (URATPG-2015) Application Form through the University website http://uniraj.edu.in
(viiiThe applicants are NOT required to deposit the hard copy of th
e online application form. However, they may keep the hard copy of the application form for their own reference
(ix)Admit Card/Time Table/Allotment of Centres will be made available on
the University website w.e.f. 12th June, 2015.
(x)Entrance Test URATPG-2015 for all the subjects will be held from 22ndJune, 2015 to 27th June, 2015.
(xi)Answer Key of all the subjects will be displayed on the University website on29thJune, 2015.
(xii)Grievances from the applicants related to answer key will be accepted up to 1st July, 2015 by 5.00 P.M.
(xiii)Declaration of final results of URATPG-2015 will be made on 4thJuly, 2015.
(xiv)In the second step of admission to Post Graduate Programmes after
declaration of URATPG-2015 results, the candidate shall be required to generate Admission Form for the Test Subject related Programmes from the University website http://uniraj.edu.in
.

What is the method of Admission in PG Programme of the
University of Rajasthan?
Ans. Admission to all the PG Departments of the University

How many questions in the examination?
Ans. The entrance test shall have 70 objective type questions carrying one (1)
mark each for each subject/programme; out of these 70 questions, 60
questions of the concerned subject/programme within the no
tified
syllabus (available on the website of the University for all under
graduate subjects/programme) + 10 questions on General Awareness
(including General Knowledge, Mental Ability & Basic English).

What is the duration of the Entrance Test?
Ans. The duration for each paper (consisting 70 objective ques
tions) shall be
of 75 minutes (i.e. one hour and fifteen minutes).

Whether any negative marking in the Examination?
Ans. There is NO negative marking.

examination and time schedule?
Ans. The candidates are required to refer the University website
for the
Centre of particular subject, date of examination and time schedule.

Ans. Yes, the sample question papers of the past years URATPG

What about the eligibility criteria for admission?
Ans. Only appearance in University of Rajasthan Entrance Test (UR
ATPG)
will NOT ensure admission to a programme of study in the Univ
ersity.
Each candidate shall ensure that he/she fulfils the Eligibility Cr
iteria
and that the particulars furnished in the Admission Form are
complete
and correct in all respects. For the eligibility in a particular

Department, the candidates are required to refer for the Universi
ty
Prospectus. In case it is detected at any stage that a candidate do
es not
fulfil the eligibility criteria and/or has furnished incorrec
t information
or suppressed any material information, his/her candidature will
be
cancelled and if already admitted, shall be liable to be forfeited the
benefits accrued thereon, from besides rustication from the Universit
y.

What about my Admission Card?
Ans. After depositing of the requisite Entrance Test fee throu
gh E-Mitra
Kiosk/E-Mitra Portal, a TOKEN NUMBER will be generated. With the
help of this TOKEN NUMBER, the candidate will fill the requisite
information asked through online form. After completion of t
his form,
the Centre for Entrance Test (URATPG-2015) and Roll number will be
allocated on admission card which can be downloaded from
University website w.e.f. 15
th
June, 2015.
The candidate will be
required to fix a self attested recent photograph and will hav
e to
produce valid ID proof, such as Adhaar Card, Voter ID and D
riving
Licence in the examination hall.

Can I carry the question booklet with me after completion

examination?
Ans. After completion of Entrance test, the Candidates can carry

The candidate can offer a maximum of 8 (eight) programmes either o
f
one faculty or in more than one faculty. These Programmes would b
e
available within the scope of the subjects in which the cand
idate
appeared in the Entrance test.
