About JEE Main 2015:
A common exam for Undergraduate Engineering admissions in two stages comprising of
JEE-Main 2015 : conducted by CBSE for admissions to the NITs, CFTIs
JEE-Advanced 2015
JEE Main 2015 Eligibility Criteria :
The minimum academic qualification for appearing in JEE Mains 2015 is that the candidate must have passed in final examination of class XII or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination.
Those appearing in class XII final or equivalent examination in 2015 may also appear in JEE Mains 2015 examination provisionally.
Candidates must have passed 5 subjects in their Class XII. Not Applicable for students who have passed in 2013 or 2014 with four subjects.
Candidates passed Class XII in 2012 or before are not eligible to appear in JEE Main examination. Only candidates passing in 2013/ 2014 or 2015 are eligible.
Candidates’ date of birth should be on or after October 1, 1990 (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/PwD i.e 1985)
Candidates can attempt JEE Main for a maximum of three times.
Note: the criteria for the states of Maharashtra, Odisha and Gujarat will be as per their past practices.
JEE Main 2015 Admit Card - Candidates can download JEE Main 2015 Admit Card from March 1, 2015. CBSE issues JEE Main 2015 Admit card in online mode only. JEE Main 2015 aspirants will need to provide their login details inclduing JEE Main 2015 Registration Number/Application Number, Date of Birth and Password to Download E-Admit card of JEE main 2015.

Fill the Application Form
Upload scanned JPEG files of Photo, signature and left thumb impression
Pay the Examination fee through credit/debit card or through e-Challan of Syndicate Bank/Canara Bank/ICICI Bank
Download the Acknowledgement Receipt and safe keep it. DONOT send it to the JEE Main office

What was New in JEE last year:
The JEE Main 2014 Application Form was online. Candidates had to upload their photographs, signature and the left thumb impression in JPEG format as specified. No documents had to be sent to the JEE Main office
Maharashtra and Odisha also joined Gujarat in the JEE Main system with JEE Main 2014 as the entrance exams for the engineering admissions in these state.
In 2014, more than 13 lakh students appeared for JEE Main.
Over 13 lakh students appeared for JEE Main last year out of which top 1.5 lath students appeared for JEE Advanced with top five states being Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Bihar.
