Overview of Rajasthan University

University of Rajasthan is the pioneer centre of quality education institution in north-west region. The main campus is in the" Pink City" Jaipur.

University of rajasthan  is multi-faculty University.It has 36 Postgraduate Departments, 15 recognized Research Centers,6 constituent colleges and 500 affiliated colleges.
The campus is spread over 285.50 acres in the urban location at the heart of the city.

HISTORY OF UNIVERSITY OF RAJASTHAN

 

University OF Rajasthan is one of the oldest educational institution in rajasthan.It was established on 8-january-1947 as the University Of Rajputana.

In 1956, Rajputana University was renamed as University Of Rajasthan.
